Tickets still available for Friends! The Musical Parody at the Bord Gais

This is brand new information.

You know that episode where everyone goes to see Monica at the YMCA diner? And they keep putting money in the machine so she has to get up on the counter and perform? Well, this is exactly like that, except much much better.

Last year Bord Gais announced that Friends! The Musical Parody would be coming to Dublin in 2020.

The production’s first time touring the UK and Ireland, it will see the whole gang make an appearance. Tickets were expected to sell out but lucky for us, there are still some left.

Particularly good news given that a reunion special starring the six original core cast members was confirmed yesterday. Running from May 14 to 16 2020, the musical will fall right around the same time that the unscripted episode is set to air. So, perfect timing really.

As the name suggests, this is a musical parody on the beloved TV series that has captured the hearts of audiences the world over (myself included, I’m a Friends superfan).

The musical, like the TV show, follows the lives of six 20-somethings as it looks back on some of the most iconic moments. Described as a “hilarious good-hearted romp through our favourite moments from the hit TV show in an uncensored, hilarious, fast-paced, music-filled production”. So much yes.

Tickets for Friends! The Musical Parody start from €19 and you can get yours here.

Isn’t that just kick-you-in-the-crotch-spit-on-your-neck fantastic?
