An actual, in-real-life gig? *Insert heart-eyes emoji here.*
Part of the Galway Summer Garden series, this week’s Róisín Dubh open mic night will take the form of an outdoor gig in Salthill. Featuring an impressive lineup of Galway talent, amongst this evening’s performers you’ll find the likes of John Martin Tierney, Sinéad Ann, Tracy Bruen, Jack. Lee and Aoife Quinn.
Known as being a springboard for local musical talent, the Róisín Dubh open mic night gives performers the chance to get their work out there. Having moved the fun online during lockdown, the team has since made a welcome return to in-real-life gigs – finishing up with their last virtual concert back in early July.
Tickets for the gig itself cost a tenner, with the option to upgrade to one of the luxury bell-tents should you feel like treating yourself of a Thursday evening. Each one can be booked for groups of up to eight people – larger groups can be accommodated over a number of tents. Plenty of food and drink options too which you can have delivered directly to your tent.
Doors open at 6pm and there will be live DJ to tide you over until the outdoor gig kicks off at 8pm. Sure what else would you be at of a Thursday evening?
