We’re drooling over the latest pastry selection at this Galway bakery

What’s summer without a day out in Galway City?

Listening to buskers on bustling Shop Street, enjoying an al-fresco pint before taking a walk by the Spanish Arch, it really can’t be bet. And as we all know, Galway has no shortage of delicious cafe options, but there’s one in particular whose insta we’ve been drooling over all week long.

Marmalade Bakery on Middle Street have been keeping the people of Galway in sourdough since 2019, and if you haven’t tried them out yet this is your sign to. Feast your eyes on some of the stunning creations they’ve been sharing this week:

Nutella Brioche Twist

Nutella. Brioche. Foamy coffee on the side. This tasty twist is a trip to France without even having to step on a plane.

The Croq-Croissant

This one’s for all my savoury queens. A stunning glow up for the old reliable ham and cheese croissant you’d make yourself at home, with delicious homemade pickles and a fried egg on top. Elite. These ones are just available on Sundays, so make it your weekend treat!

Vegan or Veggie Potato Farls

Marmalade have made a meal out of the old Irish classic with these stunning savoury parcels, with vegan and not so vegan options. Unreal.

Cinnamon Buns

An old reliable that never goes out of style, the melty icing on these bad boys actually has me a little emotional I can’t lie.

If you’ve been wondering where to head for your weekend coffee and treat in Galway, wonder no further. These guys are it!
