Sligo Tourism has released a stunning new video; proving once and for all why Ireland is deserving of its title as the Emerald Isle.
Part of an off-season marketing campaign, the aim is to encourage families to opt for staycations over trips abroad.

And it makes for quite a compelling argument.
Highlighting all that the west coast has to offer, it seems that Sligo really does have it all. From horse-riding in Mullaghmore to surfing in Strandhill, to watching birds of prey there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
The list doesn’t stop there either with a wide range of other activities to cover all interests and abilities including guided hikes, beach walks and stand up paddling tours.
