James Fenton

It would have to be the home of the GAA.

In celebration of ‘Seachtain na Gaeilge’, Thurles Farmers Market is going ‘as Gaeilge’ this Saturday.

According to the Tipperary Star, a morning of Irish music, song and dance is promised with 60 students from Gaelscoil Bhride set to perform on the day.

The market are encouraging people to get down and practice whatever cúpla focal they may have. And sure if you haven’t got any Irish head down anyway as it’s the perfect opportunity to pick some up.

Adh Mór!
