What an incredible accomplishment for the Mexican restaurant chain. Zambrero has just hit a huge milestone with their Plate 4 Plate scheme whereby they have officially donated 60 million meals. They took to Instagram to share the news with their followers and customers, saying:
“We’ve passed our 60million meal donation mark! Thanks a million (x60) to all our fantastic customers over the years – for every burrito or bowl purchased, a meal is donated to someone in need with the #plate4plate program and through our partners @riseagainsthunger!“

The restaurant, which originally hailed from Australia and now has 230 restaurants around the globe, including 13 in Ireland, is a Mexican with a mission. For every burrito or bowl sold, Zambrero donates a meal to someone in need.
Since 2005 Zambrero have now donated over 60 million meals, which is an incredible achievement.
