Criminal Assets Bureau Target Crime Gang With Raids Across Ireland

Rolex watches, expensive cars and cash were all seized as part of raids carried out by the Criminal Assets Bureau and Gardai this morning. 

The raids, which took place across Dublin, Limerick and Longford, targeted an organised crime gang. 

Some 20 properties were searched, and approximately €15,000 in cash was seized along with a number of Breitling, Rolex and Cartier watches, an Audi Q7, a Mercedes Vito, a VW Golf Mark7 GTD and a Honda Motorcycle. 

A freezing order has also been made on a bank account containing a substantial amount of money. 

Several documents and mobile phones are being examined by officers. 

No arrests have been made and the search operation is ongoing.
