The Republic Of Ireland take to the pitch tonight hoping to get their UEFA Nations League campaign back on track after a woeful 4-1 defeat to Wales last month.
Standing between Martin O’Neill’s men and three points are our World Cup play-off conquerers Denmark. With last November’s horrific 5-1 defeat still fresh in the memory, restoring some semblance of pride will be of paramount importance to the Boys In Green. For those not heading to the Aviva Stadium, here’s all you need to know.

What time is kick-off?
You’ll need to be sitting down with a pint or on your sofa for a 7.45pm start.
RTÉ or Virgin Media?
Neither. Sky Sports have the rights to this game and the match will be shown live on Sky Sports Football. However, highlights of the game will be on Virgin Media Two from 10pm with the whole match repeated from 11pm.
Ah here. Pub it is, so. Have we any hope?
Judging by our performance against Wales then absolutely not. However, it’s not all doom and gloom as our showing in the friendly against Poland a few days later was a lot more encouraging.
Plus, Denmark will be without Christian Eriksen, their talisman and scorer of a hat-trick at the Aviva Stadium last time around.
We will need to dig deep but hopefully with a vociferous home crowd getting behind the lads, we can get the job done.
We’re in with a shout, so. Enjoy the match. #COYBIG
How very kind. You too. #COYBIG
