It was the biggest wedding of 2018 and dominated the news for most of May and as predicted, it seems that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have decided to fulfil their dream of a ‘mini-moon’ in Ireland.
Rumours are circulating online that the couple are currently staying in one of Ireland’s finest hotels – Ashford Castle in Cong, co. Mayo.
The 800-year-old 5* resort in the heart of the green and red, is used to looking after high-profile guests and has seen the likes of John Lennon, President Ronald Reagan, Robin Williams, Brad Pitt, Pierce Brosnan walk through their doors and recently Rory McIlroy married Erica Stoll there.
It has won multiple awards, the most recent being ‘the best travel experience in the world.
Therefore, it would come as no surprise that the Prince and his new wife would stop by for a look-see, it is after all a castle fit for royalty…
