We’ve been spoiled with the weather in 2016 and our good fortune looks set to continue.
Met Éireann has predicted that temperatures will hit highs of 12 C this week, saying goodbye to the freezing temperatures of the last few days.
The mild weather will begin today and continue for the rest of the week, with moderate to fresh winds.
That’s hotter than Spain or Italy so we’re not doing too badly at all!
However, the winds are set to pick up by Thursday and there will be strong to gale force winds in some places.
The weekend is looking like a bit of a mixed bag, with showers on Friday and Saturday but sunny conditions expected on Sunday.
