The Glorious Weather Is Set To Last But Saturday Could Be Dodgy

James Fenton

The current sunny spells could last until the middle of next week with a slight blip possible on Saturday.

That’s just typical says you.

According to Met Éireann, the outlook for the next few days looks delightful with especially good weather in the west of the country:

“Mainly dry over the next few days but with a freshening easterly breeze. Good sunshine in the north and west but somewhat cloudier in the south and east with the odd shower possible. Temperatures always best in the west with an onshore breeze keeping it fairly cool along the east and south coast.”

As luck would have it though, things may take a slight turn for the worse on Saturday. The experts are predicting:

“The latest indications are that Saturday will be fairly cloudy across Munster and south Leinster with the chance of a little patchy rain along the south coast.”

Hard luck Munster and south Leinster but they did go on to add:

“Elsewhere it will be dry with good sunny spells, these lengthiest along the north coast. The brisk easterly wind will moderate somewhat as temperatures range from between 11 and 15 degrees.”

Who’s for a trip up north?
