Yay – Those Two Stray Pot Bellied Piggies Found A Home

Sarah

Earlier in the week we put out a call for a foster home for two adorable pot bellied pigs who were found wandering a road in Leitrim.

The local animal welfare centre took the two piggies in but issued a desperate plea for someone to give them either a foster or permanent home, otherwise they pigs would end up in the pound.

So we’re delighted to inform all you piglet lovers out there that the two cuties have found a home out in the country on a nice small farm with turkeys and ducks and cats and close to the Leitrim Animal Welfare Centre, and their warden will drop in regularly to make sure they’re happy and healthy.

The best part? The pigs new owners clearly have a sense of humour when it comes to naming pets because they’ve only gone and called them SAUSAGE and BACON.

For real.

One day we will be the proud owners of a pot bellied pig – one day.
