This Sligo café’s Halloween-themed dessert box is a real treat

Halloween

October 31st is just around the corner and one Sligo café is marking the occasion by launching a festively-themed Halloween treat box.

Packed full of all sorts of goodies, each one comes with four sticky toffee apples, four spooky cupcakes and four marshmallow monsters – just what the (witch) doctor ordered to cure those trick or treating blues.

Shells’ sister café Baker Boys is also getting in on the fun, unveiling some of their own Halloween-themed treats which include some very surprised looking ghost cupcakes and freshly baked Barmbrack.

In other spooky news, Ireland will get its first Halloween full moon in over 20 years this October 31st. A very rare occurrence, it’s not often that the two coincide and between firework displays, flying broomsticks and a full moon, there will be plenty of reasons to keep your eyes on the sky.
