Liverpool’s Mo Salah brought football fans to their feet yesterday as his stunning long-range goal clinched a 2-0 victory over Chelsea.
It was genuinely one of those jaw-dropping moments that people will remember in years to come but if you ask Shay Given, he only had one thing on his mind.
The former Ireland goalie was captured on camera tucking into his dinner as fellow TV pundits Steve McManaman and Ian Wright leapt out of their seats and began applauding the Egyptian’s strike. Meanwhile, Shay could only bring himself to perform a nonchalant glance up from his plate as he continued to fill his belly.
The clip has brought plenty of amusement online with many people relating to how the Donegal man pretty much got his priorities spot on.
