Batches of Doritos Tangy Cheese crisps have been recalled due to the possible presence of undeclared soya.
The Food Safety Authority of Ireland has published the Doritos Tangy Cheese recall, which was originally issued by Walkers Snacks Foods, on the official FSAI website.
While packets of the crisps do feature a precautionary allergen labelling for soya, it is not included on the list of ingredients and therefore has the potential to cause harm to those with allergies to soya.

The recall applies to 180g packets of the crisps with best before codes of June 6, 2020. All products with best before codes of June 13, 2020 and after are not affected by the recall.
A spokesperson for the FSAI said: “Walkers Snacks Foods is recalling the following product from the market-Â Doritos Tangy Cheese 180g – as it contains soya which is not accurately declared on the label.
“Although this product includes precautionary allergen labelling for soya,it is undeclared in the ingredients list and may pose a risk to people with an allergy to soya.”
Customers who have purchased the above batches and have a soya allergy are advised not to consume the product.
