Just in case you haven’t heard, today is officially ‘Kiss A Ginger Day’.
Created in response to South Park s Kick A Ginger theme, this sweet yet slightly creepy national day is meant to encourage people to give thanks to the favourite flame-haired people in their life.
While we don’t recommend just going up to the nearest redhead you see on a dark street corner and smacking them one on the lips, you could use this day as an opportunity to ask the sexy ginger guy in the office out for drinks. All in the name of a national holiday, of course.
Naturally, the people of Twitter are loving the #KissAGinger trend.

I’m informed it’s #KissAGingerDay. So long as it’s frivolous and doesn’t condone or encourage poor behaviour, all I would like to add is… pic.twitter.com/IZq24PcJeI

So it’s #KissAGingerDay
Which was totally made by gingers for gingers. How else do you think we steal the souls? We have a quota to fill! pic.twitter.com/VbU51gKPlj— Jenna Rae (@j3nnacid3) January 12, 2018
