Galway Man Recovering After Being Stuck In A Crevice For Two Nights

A man is recovering in hospital after becoming stuck between two boulders following a fall on Friday. 

The 67-year-old was carrying out work on his land when he fell into the crevice.

According to RTÉ, the man was stuck there until around 4.30pm on Monday when he was found by two walkers halfway between Moycullen and Oughterard.

He was airlifted to University Hospital Galway where he is recovering after showing signs of hypothermia.
