If lads in GAA jerseys don’t turn up at an international sporting event, is it really an international sporting event at all?
In recent years, everything from the Superbowl to the World Cup Final has featured someone from our shores being captured on camera wearing their county colours with pride. This time, it’s the 2018 Ryder Cup that is the focus of attention.
Golf’s biggest competition got underway in France early this morning and already some eagle-eyed TV viewers have clocked a pair of Kerrymen in the crowd wearing the green and gold.
