If you’re planning a hike, stroll or cycle followed by a coffee this weekend, Bunlacken Brú at the foot of Cullahill Mountain in Laois is the perfect shout.
These guys just opened up last weekend and couldn’t be in a more ideal location for anyone looking to soak up a bit of nature while enjoying a flattie.

There’s a gorgeous marked loop walk in Cullahill with plenty of historic gems to discover and incredible views – it takes you along forests trails, rural roadways and through ancient ruins – and finishing it off with a coffee and a treat is a weekend activity we can get on board with.

Pouring organic McCabe’s coffee and serving freshly baked treats from Emma’s Baking, Bunlacken Brú are clearly prioritising organic, locally sourced produce which we love to see. They’re open from 9:30-5:30 each day, and we can’t wait to pay them a visit.
