The Galway Races are an integral part of the Irish summer calendar.
It’s something both the locals and visitors look forward to, and every year it draws a huge crowd.
It’s basically a tradition.
And now, I think we’ve found the number one fan of the annual Ballybrit festival.
Galway Races tweeted this picture, and therefore introduced us to Joe Fagan from Moate.
He’s 91 and has been attending the Galway Races for 75 years.

I just want to give him a hug and let him tell me all the stories he has from his years at the Races.
