Love it or loathe it, Big Brother knows how to stir up some attention.

The Italian version of the show attracted an interesting bunch to say the least. And joining that crew, was none other than 23-year-old Alessia Macari, cousin of Dublin Wives star, Virginia Macari.

That's right - of Macari chipper fame.

The young Dubliner then only went and won the whole thing, bagging €100,000 and the hearts of the Italian audience. She had been previously hotly tipped to win.

She took to Instagram upon winning and wrote: ''Thank you so much to everyone! I love you!"

Proving she's not just a pretty face, the half Italian half Irish starlet has announced she will be donating half of her €100,000 winnings to a kids charity, yet to be chosen.

What a sweetheart.

G'wan Alessia!
