Finding Joy, a new comedy-drama written by and starring Amy Huberman, makes its debut tomorrow night and viewers have been advised to keep an eye out for a familiar face.
Speaking to Nicky Byrne and Jenny Greene on 2FM yesterday, Amy said that her husband Brian O’Driscoll will be making a brief appearance on the show. According to Amy, the rugby legend really wanted to help out and sure enough his wish has been granted.
Amy said “it is a really small little thing – and we were actually hoping people would be like, ‘Is that, is that, what?'”, before adding “he was really happy to come in and do something. It’s only little, like a ‘blink and you miss it’, which is what he wanted.”
Finding Joy will follow a young woman, played by Huberman, who is trying to navigate a painful break-up and will also star Aisling Bea and Laura Whitmore.
The show will air tomorrow night (Wednesday) on RTÉ One at 9.35pm so if you want see if you can catch BOD’s appearance, make sure to tune in. A taster of what’s in store can be found in the below clip.
