It’s that time of the year where you can start dreaming about the presents that you want to see in front of you come December 25 – the special gadgets that you couldn’t justify during the rest of the year, but can pray to receive.
We thought we’d get a list together that will help you buy a present for that special someone in your life – or something you can send out to your own friends and family as a none-too-subtle hint.

The perfect stocking filler at €24.99 – and one that will make up for all the time you called them a nerd because of their passion for all things interstellar.

Will cost around €100, but the good news is if you buy them this they’ll have to do all the odd jobs going. A serious piece of kit.

You’d be used to seeing Apple products in these sorts of lists but this year Microsoft is getting cool again – and for €1,499 you won’t get a better computer.
7. Haig Club Scotch Whisky 70cl
A new Scottish whiskey that has the backing of David Beckham and is an all-round superb brand. Small bottle, but affordable, and will make them feel super special.
8. 3FE – Coffee Subscription
For the coffee lovers out there get them a monthly delivery so as they can start making their own. No better coffee shop to be getting it from either.
9. GoPro HERO4 Black
Quite simply the best and most compact camera on the market. Could be used on the end of a selfie stick or hurtling down the side of a mountain depending on how active they are.
10. Sonos Play 1
The latest version of their wonderful line up of speaker products that sync up with most of the music streaming services and provide perfect audio in the house or office.
11. Cardboard iPad TV Stand
A wonderful way of mixing new technology with something from the past. One of the cheaper items on the list, and another perfect stocking filler.
12. ‘Stallworth’ Cap Toe Boot
A stunning boot and although the price tag might seem a bit crazy – at about the €400 mark – you’re getting a serious piece of footwear that should last for years and years.
13. Kielhs Starter Pack
One for the guys who like taking special care of themselves – or, if you’re in the business of dropping hints, somebody who needs to look after themselves a little better. Pricey, because this is the best you can get.
14.Fitbit Surge Fitness Tracker
Everything we do seems to be connected to the internet these days but this is by far the best fitness tracker – so basically, you’re giving the gift of health. And you can’t ask for more than that, now, can you?
15. WORX Landroid Robotic Lawn Mower
For the most part mowing the grass seems to be a job that guys are only too happy to do. Give them even more time to themselves with this brilliant gadget.
16. DJI Phantom 3 Quadcopter 4K UHD Video Camera Drone
Not one of the cheapest drones you’ll lay your hands on, but with the 4K camera you’ll get stunning footage. All you have to do is find someone to buy it for you!
17. Leaf cannabis growing system
Okay, so we’ll preface with this by saying you need to live in a country where it’s legal to grow weed. But if you do, instead of making it up as you go along in the attic you get a professional system designed for this very purpose.
18. Casio Classic Watch
Forget all this nonsense about smart watches and fitness trackers. For a cool €20 you get this classic that tells the time and has a stop watch. A proper watch!

20. Drive three supercars
We are going to take a wild guess and presume you can’t afford to by that special someone in your life a supercar.
You can, however, book them a couple of hours in three different top-end cars for less than €100. They’ll thank you big time!
21. Proper beer fridge
So these are meant to be for pubs and restaurants, but if you feel your special someone deserves a big treat then for €350 you could get one of these – and legend status would be assured.

Give a a nudge in the right direction with this wonderful book – full of healthy and quick recipes that even the biggest kitchen disaster can make!
23. Bjorn Borg Underwear
One of the best tennis players the world has ever seen and also a quality maker of boxer shorts. What a life.
About €30 a pair but you’ll look ripped just by putting them on!
24. The New Apple TV
Comes in at €80 and all the reviews have been raving about it saying it is one of the best TV experiences ever. Universal search could be the start of something huge.
25. Canon EOS Rebel SLR Digital Camera
For those who want to take things to the next level. This is a superb entry level camera and perfect to get snapping with.
26. VIZIO M-Series 43
Just when you think TVs can’t get much better, along comes this smart beauty in full 4K – and costing only about €500. Perfect for sports and all those Christmas movies.
27. Muji Hut
The famous Japanese inspired shop are branching out into building these little houses. Stripped back simple design and everything you need but on a smaller scale to normal.
