Rebecca Keane

The MMA fighter has pledged to help out homeless families in the capital.

Conor McGregor says he has built eight houses for homeless families in county Dublin.

The businessman was visiting the site of his first property development, where he said the houses were almost at completion.

The houses have 3 bedrooms for prospective families to use, and the location of where they’re being built was not confirmed.

In an Instagram post, McGregor said, ‘Walking around this land and these homes today, meeting all the neighbours, knowing that soon there will be families living here, creating their own memories, and building back their lives, gives me great pride!’

He said he is putting Ireland ‘first’ and ‘always’.

It’s not yet known if McGregor is donating the houses to a homeless charity or organisation.
