Ed Sheeran has always had an affinity with the Irish given that he traces his roots back to the Emerald Isle and all. Sure look at the head on him.
Whenever he comes to these shores he’s always greeted with the usual céad míle fáilte and with one of his new tracks it’s clear to see that the love is mutual.
Ed’s much anticipated new album Divide dropped today and among the 12 tracks is a number called ‘Galway Girl’ in which Ed pays tribute to a fiddle-playing, céili-dancing lady from the Tribal County.
Take a listen:
What ya reckon? The track has garnered rave reviews on Twitter as well as the rest of the album.
