Wicklow golfer Paul Dunne has issued an apology after microphones picked up some of his strong language on the course today.
Dunne is currently competing in the Turkish Airlines Open in Antalya where he is tied for 11th at seven under par at the time of writing. His frustration was apparent on a couple of holes as he quite literally cursed his luck and, of course, it didn’t go unnoticed by TV viewers.

Dunne was quick to apologise, stating that frustration got the better of him. Even though he was clearly annoyed, it didn’t stop him signing a few autographs for waiting supporters afterwards.
Apologies for the on course language today to anyone watching. Frustration got the better of me on 16.
