We’re obviously big fans of Fair City here in Ireland so it’s about time we showed it off to the rest of the world.
The Dublin soap opera has started airing over in Scotland and the reaction so far has been largely positive.
Viewers over there can keep up with the escapades of the Carrigstown residents by tuning into new channel STV2.
Here’s what people are saying about it:
I wish to praise very highly indeed the entire cast and production crew of new irish soap,Fair City shown today on stv as the Omnibus.

Best of luck to STV for the launch of @WeAreSTV2!
Fair City looks a cracking show and the news at 7pm should be a good’un.
Break a leg!

Of course, there are always going to be some haters:
What’s this “fair city” Irish programme all about in stv?! Fuck me standards have fallen!

No matter how much STV try to plug this Fair City show its probably still gonna be shite. Even the promos are cringey as fuck.

In other not so good news for Fair City fans, the show will not be airing tonight or on Wednesday. The news hasn’t gone down well.
No #FairCity tonight folks! We will be back on Tuesday with a cracker of an episode. Meanwhile, here is an oldie but a goodie. Happy Sunday! pic.twitter.com/uZTfvWLzox

I am still none the wiser why there’s no episode of #faircity next Wednesday. No response at all from RTE despite asking twice. Oh well.
