Choosing who to follow on Twitter can sometimes be challenging. If you follow back that girl who used to eat jam and ham sandwiches in second class will you be able to tolerate her clogging your feed with shit memes every two minutes? probably not.
If you haven’t noticed already, celebrities and companies are very selective on who they follow on Twitter. If you really look in to it, you’ll find that more often times than none there is a strategy behind it.
KFC only follows 11 accounts and it has a pretty hilarious but also a clever reason for doing so.
Included in their list of the chosen few is Geri Halliwell, Victoria Beckham, Mel B, Mel C and Emma Bunton.
So what, KFC is a Spice Girls fan? Not quite.
Though 90’s music will forever be a favourite, KFC did not follow these 5 accounts to relive the glory days. If you look at the rest of the accounts followed by KFC, you will see that they are six lads called Herb.
KFC pride themselves on their recipe having 11 herbs and spices.
Are things starting to click now?
This witty stunt has sent Twitter users into meltdown and we think it is bloody hilar.
A friend informed me @kfc follows the 5 Spice Girls along with 6 guys named “Herb” on Twitter. That’s 11 herbs and spices. #WellPlayed ????????
