Oh winter is coming, baby.

And you know how we know winter is coming? Because the two heavyweights of television are back on our screens.

The Late Late Show first and there’s a few familiar guests on the couch tonight.

Fresh from their gold medal winning victories at the World Rowing Championships, Paul and Gary O’Donovan and Sanita Puspure will be chatting about their wins and how they are positioned for a dominant display in the Tokyo Olympics.

As broadcaster Pat Kenny celebrates being inducted into the IMRO Radio Awards Hall of Fame, he joins Ryan to chat about a career that spans five decades including everything from children’s television and hosting Eurovision to putting politicians on the spot on some of the most high profile current affairs shows in the country and, of course, helming The Late Late Show for ten years.

After a year of wildly unpredictable weather, Met Éireann’s Joanna Donnelly will be in studio to chat about why our climate has changed so dramatically, and what we can expect from the coming winter.

At the tender of age of 28 years old, Nathan Carter has already secured his position among the icons of Irish country music. As he prepares to launch his autobiography, he will be discussing growing up Irish in Liverpool, developing a love of country music and making country cool again as he rose to the top of the Irish scene. And he’ll be giving a special performance of a Willie Nelson classic.

Former Ireland prop Mike Ross was 17 years old when he lost his younger brother Andrew to suicide. He will share his family’s story on Friday night.

Plus music from Villagers.

As for Graham Norton’s line-up, you’re actually going to freak out when you see it, you can find it here.
