Mark Mehigan’s Sunday Roast podcast is exactly what you need for a good laugh

Alan Fisher

Mark Mehigan’s Sunday Roast podcast is exactly what you need for a good laugh.

Before lockdown started, I used to hold on until Monday morning while I was driving to work to listen to it.

It gave me such a laugh at the start of the week just when I needed it.

Now I’m more relaxed when I listen to it, but during these hard times, it’ll give you such a laugh.

The beauty of this podcast is that nobody is safe as he goes in hard on all the weird and wonderful stuff we have all done as Irish people.

From your time spent at the Gaeltacht, your first kiss, or the debs, you’ll find yourself crying laughing at him and more importantly, at yourself.

We have all lived through these awkward times and he hits the nail on the head every time.

He also goes after different stereotypes of people that we all have in our friend groups. You can bet your bottom dollar that you’ll be texting your mates about certain characters he mentions.

He also goes in on certain topics like Cheltenham, the Coronavirus, and suspicious 5km times.

You really don’t want to be too sensitive heading into this but I promise you, you will come out of the 20-minute rant in a better mood.
