It might be a bold statement but I think Mercedes Benz are the best car brand when it comes to social media – how they connect with the real world online and offline. They’ve mastered how to create engaging content for the masses. And their latest promo video for the M-Class is no exception.
The video features MTB’s Kelly McGarry and Jeremy Lyttle as they take on the highest vehicle mountain pass in the world at over 18 thousand feet above sea-level in the Himalayas. Its not a typical coupling to have Merc team up with bikers but this again exercises their determination to align themselves with extreme sports to prove their cars have ‘off-road’ use as well as being the premium domestic city car. Its a brilliant production and a smart direction for the car giant.
