Music fans across the globe are in shock this evening as the death has been announced of Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington.
According to the BBC, the 41-year-old’s body was found at a private home in Los Angeles at 9am local time (5pm Irish time).
It is being reported that the cause of death was suicide. Chester was married to Talinda Bentley and had six children.
The band were due to start a new tour next week.
