This Legendary Electro Group Is Coming To Ireland In 2017

James Fenton

Great news for fans of 80s synthpop.

Legendary British group Depeche Mode have promised that they will be performing in Ireland before the end of 2017. Alas, no set date has been confirmed but it’s only a matter of time.

Founding member Andrew Fletcher told Hot Press:

“Yeah, we’re playing Ireland in the winter tour. I don’t know when details of that’ll be announced. It’d be around June, I would have thought. The last gig was just absolutely fantastic, and we also played Belfast as well. Dublin is always a good crowd.”

So there you have it, folks. ‘Around June’, straight from the horse’s mouth.

Better get practicing.
