Netflix has confirmed that its reality dating show Too Hot to Handle will be returning for a second series, although an official date has yet to be confirmed.
Too Hot to Handle arrived on Netflix in April of last year to much intrigue, becoming the number one TV show on the streaming site during the week of April 20. That might have had something to do with the Covid-19 lockdown but here we are, nine months later in another lockdown so who’s to say the second series won’t be as successful.
In case you’re unaware, the show basically asks contestants to refrain from sexual contact for four weeks, something which proves more difficult for some then others. Inspired by the famous Seinfeld episode The Contest, the first series of Too Hot to Handle was shot in Mexico, with the second set to take place on the Turks and Caicos Islands.
