Ireland has undergone a LOT of changes in the past 200 years – we’ve had independence, the Eurovision, wi-fi and more, but the most noticeable difference can be seen on every street in every town around the country.
Even the smallest sleepy old towns in the countryside look completely different to how they once did in the 19th century, but if you have a super keen eye then you might just be able to spot where the pictures below were taken.
Earth In The Past blog posted these gorgeous photographs showing life in Ireland in the 1800’s, and sense of every day life you get from each pic is amazing.
Horse and carts, huge merchant ships docked along the quays and even the simple flowing clothes all give you a sneak peak of what your life would have been like back then.
Can you recognise where these photos were taken? (Answers are at the bottom!)
