Here in Ireland, we’re all big fans of a Father Ted reference. Sometimes, it’s hard to get through a day without someone referring to a classic line or gag from the classic Channel 4 sitcom.
This weekend, however, it’s our friends across the water who will be treated to the best reference to the ecclesiastical comedy we’ve seen in a long time.
This flag will be flying high tonight during Radiohead’s set and a picture of it was posted to Twitter by Hannah O’Connell.

It is, of course, referring to this brilliant scene featuring Tommy Tiernan as a depressed priest from the final episode of the show called ‘Going To America.’
All we can say is ‘bravo’.
