PIC: Ronan O’Gara Gets Letter Sent To Door In France With Little Bit Of Irish Rugby Info On It

For many of us who grew up watching rugby in the noughties era of triple crowns, Munster Heineken Cup success and that missed penalty in 2009 to clinch a Grand Slam, one of your heroes will certainly be Ronan O’Gara.

Whether it’s in the baggy Permanent TSB sponsored shirts, or the slim-fit modern day era green jerseys, ROG made the number ten jersey is own for years.

In fact, we’d say the surname or even his initials would have been enough to see this letter get delivered to his home house in Ireland but in order for it to get to France, it needed that extra bit of vital info.

No address? No problem. Imagine if someone knew who you were simply by the jersey you wore in your playing career.

There’s not many players it would work for – Cantona, Beckham and Ronaldo would be forever swapping misplaced letters if that was the case.

But for ROG, there’s not much more you need. In saying that if the postman are as good in Paris as they are here, they probably already know that there’s not too many O’Gara’s near the Eiffel Tower.

Still though, nearly 1,000 miles traveled on three lines is some going.
