Some scaries, some action and some powerful dramas are all on the telly tonight.

Weekend Eve Eve is upon and the weather isn’t great. Time to watch some movies!

Don’t Look Now – BBC Four – 9pm

A married couple (Donald Sutherland and Julie Christie) grieving the recent death of their young daughter are in Venice when they encounter two elderly sisters, one of whom is psychic and brings a warning from beyond.

Red Sparrow – FilmFour – 9pm

Ballerina Dominika Egorova (Jennifer Lawrence) is recruited to ‘Sparrow School,’ a Russian intelligence service where she is forced to use her body as a weapon. Her first mission, targeting a C.I.A. agent, threatens to unravel the security of both nations.

Executive Decision – ITV4 – 9pm

When terrorists seize control of an airliner, an intelligence analyst (Kurt Russell) accompanies a commando unit (headed by Steven Seagal) for a midair boarding operation.

Interview with the Vampire – BBC Four – 10.45pm

A vampire (Brad Pitt) tells his epic life story: love, betrayal, loneliness, and hunger. Co-stars Tom Cruise, Christian Slater, Kirsten Dunst and Antonio Banderas.

American Assassin – FilmFour – 11.45pm

After the death of his girlfriend at the hands of terrorists, Mitch Rapp (Dylan O’Brien) is drawn into the world of counterterrorism, mentored by tough-as-nails former U.S. Navy S.E.A.L. Stan Hurley (Michael Keaton).

Lorenzo’s Oil – TG4 – 12.35am

Lorenzo Odone, a Virginia 5-year-old, develops a degenerative nerve disease so rare that nobody is working on a cure, so his parents (Nick Nolte and Susan Sarandon) decide to immerse themselves in research and tackle the problem themselves.
