So Many Irish People Will Relate To This New RTÉ Show Which Starts Tonight

Irish people are well used to having family members spread all over the world but with modern technology, keeping in touch with home isn’t as difficult as it once was.

New six-part RTÉ series Missing You documents the long-distance Skype calls of a number of Irish familes and features the laughter and tears of mammies, granddads, sons, daughters and grandchildren.

Missing You is unique in that it is the first series in the world to be created exclusively from video calls. It includes Irish people living as far and wide as Libya, South Korea, Boston and everywhere in between and it seems like most of us will be able to relate to it.

The first episode airs tonight on RTÉ at 8.30pm.
