The Skipping Rope Just Got Re-Invented

Going to the gym and keeping fit in general used to be a pretty simple task, involving little more than a bit of willpower and a pair of running shoes.

These days, however, it all seems to be about apps, connected devices,  and a whole bunch of new tools to help you along.

This latest innovation takes one of the most basic and functional products of all time (a skipping rope) and turns it into a smart internet connected device

It tracks every movement you make, uses LED lights to flash stats up in front of you, and even allows you to compete online with friends via an app.

Call us old-fashioned, but we think this might be a step too far. Give us an old piece of rope any day of the week.
