SATURDAY

Apollo 13 – ITV4 – 7.40pm

NASA must devise a strategy to return Apollo 13 to Earth safely after the spacecraft undergoes massive internal damage putting the lives of the three astronauts (Tom Hanks, Bill Paxton, Kevin Bacon) on board in jeopardy.

There’s Something About Mary – Comedy Central – 9pm

A man (Ben Stiller) gets a chance to meet up with his dream girl (Cameron Diaz) from high school, even though his date with her back then was a complete disaster.

Kingsman: The Secret Service – FilmFour – 9pm

A spy organisation recruits a promising street kid (Taron Edgerton) into the agency’s training program, while a global threat emerges from a twisted tech genius (Samuel L. Jackson).

Raging Bull – TG4 – 9.35pm

What Happens in Vegas – Comedy Central – 9pm

A man (Ashton Kutcher) and a woman (Cameron Diaz) are compelled, for legal reasons, to live life as a couple for a limited period of time. At stake is a large amount of money.

Lady Bird – RTE One – 9.30pm

In 2002, an artistically inclined seventeen-year-old girl (Saoirse Ronan) comes of age in Sacramento, California, while trying to live with her controlling mother (Laurie Metcalf).

Lucy – ITV4 – 11.10pm

A woman (Scarlett Johansson), accidentally caught in a dark deal, turns the tables on her captors and transforms into a merciless warrior evolved beyond human logic.

My Beautiful Laundrette – FilmFour – 11.15pm
