Pierce Brosnan and Jackie Chan starred together in a gritty crime film which shows Chan take revenge on Irish terrorists who are responsible for the death of his daughter, and Brosnan play an ex-IRA member who is now a government official.
And is *definitely* not based on Gerry Adams. Apparently.
People are quick to point out though, the uncanny resemblance between the actor and the Sinn Fein leader, with some saying that he looks even more like Gerry Adams than Adams himself.
The Foreigner follows the tale of a humble businessman with a buried past seeks justice when his daughter is killed in an act of terrorism. A cat-and-mouse conflict ensues with a government official, whose past may hold clues to the killers’ identities.
