The Search Is Over – We've Found THE Most American Newspaper Headline Of All Time

Well, if it was going to happen at any time of year, it may as well be the week of the 4th of July.

This headline appeared in the Daily Mail two days ago, and tells the story of Minnesota man Jason Galvin – an army veteran with two tours in Afghanistan under his belt – who discovered an eagle stuck in a tree, and decided to take action in order to bring the majestic animal to safety.

Naturally this touching tale of animal altruism was picked up by the media.

And this particular headline was THE single most American sentence we've ever read...

Ah yes.

Only in America could they turn a heartwarming tale of wildlife rescue into something that sounds like it ought to star Steven Seagal and be directed by Michael Bay.

Happy 4th, people.
