After years of watching plenty of hoaxes on YouTube the world’s first real hoverboard is actually here. The Hendo comes with four disc-shaped hover engines and the board allows you to float about an inch off the ground as it responds to your movements. The downside is, it only works on metal surfaces, doesn’t move that quickly and the battery only lasts for approx 10-15 minutes so you couldn’t rely on it for a commute quite yet. Still this is ground breaking, hover is the future and even Tony Hawke has had a go, back the Kickstarter project for $10,000 or more.
