It’s official gals. Magic Mike will return for one last dance.

Channing Tatum has confirmed he’ll reprise his iconic role as Michael ‘Magic Mike’ Lane in the third instalment of the franchise, “Magic Mike’s Last Dance”. Goosebumps, honestly.

The 41 year old actor took to social media to confirm a third film was in the works, writing “Well world, looks like Mike Lane’s tapping back in”.

The original 2012 film is loosely based on the real life experiences of Channing Tatum, who worked as a stripper in Tampa, Florida as an 18 year old. Mike Lane has big plans for owning his own business, and in the meantime pays his bills through a series of odd jobs, including stripping at Xquisite Strip Club in Tampa.

Mike meets Adam, a recent college dropout looking for a construction job and takes him under his wing, hooking him up with a job stripping at Xquisite. The film follows Mike and Adam’s experiences in the club and beyond. The 2015 sequel, Magic Mike XXL sees Mike return to Tampa after years running his own furniture business. The films have also been adapted as hugely successful live stage show adaptions across the world.

Will you be tuning in to see Mike dance one last time?
