Star Trek Into Darkness – Channel 4 – 6.30pm

The second of the recent Star Trek movies (and the first of two on tonight), we’ve got an evil Benedict Cumberbatch attempting to get revenge on Star Fleet for some top-secret reasons, and only Kirk and Spock and co. can potentially stop him.

Star Trek Beyond – Channel 4 – 9pm

The trilogy-closer of the recent Star Trek movies, and the crew are up against Idris Elba’s intergalactic villain, after they’ve all survived the Enterprise crashing into an alien planet, with no viable way to safely get home.

Red Sparrow – FilmFour – 9pm

Jennifer Lawrence is put through the paces as a potential Russian sleeper agent, tasked with trying to get an American agent to defect to Russia, but her handlers aren’t sure she isn’t the one trying to defect to America.

Boogie Nights – TG4 – 9.30pm

Mark Wahlberg is… uhm… gifted in the crotch area, getting the attention of a local porn legend, who plans on turning him into a big star in the adult movie industry.

Twister – RTE Two – 9.50pm

Bill Paxton and Helen Hunt are the about-to-be-divorced couple who are forced to work together again during a series of incredibly powerful tornadoes.

Carrie – FilmFour – 11.45pm

A teenage girl with telekinetic powers is tormented by the bullies at school, as well as her overly religious mother at home, leading up to a single day of violent revenge against them all.
