This Is When The Irish Version Of Blind Date Will Be On Our Tellies

AmyBell

We’ve all been waiting for this news, and now TV3 have finally announced the launch of Blind Date.

The Irish version of one of the world’s most famous TV dating shows ever will be on our TV screens from next Sunday, October 8.

And we are so excited!

The dating show was a big hit in the 90s and now we have our very own version that will be hosted by comedian Al Porter.

Blind Date will see singletons hope to find love by getting to pick from three ‘desirable’ dates but the catch is, they don’t get to see them.

They will get to ask three questions to the unknown potential dates, and will have to go with their instincts on who they think they’ll match best with.

It is only after their date has been chosen that they will get to see them and go off together for an actual first date.

The duo will have to come back on the show and give us the goss on how it all went down.

And frankly, we cannot wait.

It sounds like our Sunday nights are going to be sorted!

Blind Date will air on TV3 every Sunday at 9pm from October 8.

Will you tune in?
