If you thought your family was wild, wait until you get a load of David Attenborough’s new show.
To mark World Animal Day yesterday, the BBC unveiled a first look at Dynasties, a documentary that’s sure to get tongues wagging when it airs on BBC 1. With the likes of Eastenders, the broadcaster has form in producing high-quality drama based around families but this latest offering is on a whole new level.
The documentary took four years to film and the episodes revolve around five families in the wild, including emperor penguins, tigers and lions. If it’s in any way as gripping as the trailer, we’re all in for a treat.
According to the BBC, the new series will be ‘an intense portrayal of the lives of these animals as they unfold, day-by-day, hour-by-hour, where the tiniest incident may end up having a huge consequence on their future.’
No air date has been confirmed so you’ll have to make do with the trailer for now. You can check out the breathtaking clip in full below.
