Starting a band and heading away on tour is the dream of many a youngster but only a select few ever get the chance to do it.
One such group is Snow Patrol, one of the most high-profile Irish success stories in the past couple of decades. From their humble beginnings at the University Of Dundee in Scotland to playing some of the largest arenas in the world, Gary Lightbody and the lads are some of the busiest people in the music business.
The group’s 25 years of touring will be the focus of tonight’s edition of BBC Arts NI Presents which will look at how they have coped with life on tour buses, airplanes and hotels and dealing with the pressures of fame and personal ups and downs.
It seems to be a must-watch for any Snow Patrol fan or music fans in general, and you can catch Snow Patrol: 25 Years On The Road from 10.35pm tonight on BBC One.
