Love Island has been pushed back to the 10pm time slot tonight.

Tuesday night’s episode of Love Island will not begin at its usual time of 9pm and will instead air at 10pm due to ITV’s coverage of The Brit Awards.

The Jack Whitehall-hosted Brits begin at 8pm and the decision was made not to air Love Island at a time when it will clash with the awards show.

According to the various TV guides, tonight’s Love Island is scheduled to be shown in Ireland between 10pm and 11pm on Virgin Media One.

The reality dating show returned to our screens on Monday evening after ITV bosses chose not to air an episode on Sunday night as a mark of respect to Caroline Flack, the television presenter who tragically passed away on Saturday.

The show’s episode of Unseen Bits was pulled from the schedule on Saturday and there was also no Love Island: Aftersun on Monday night.

There have been many calls for the series to be cancelled following the tragic news of Flack’s death although it appears as though the winter series will continue until the finale, which is currently scheduled to take place this Sunday, February 23.
